For this assignment, you will read, critique, and present on a piece of creative work in the field of physical computing research. The purpose of this assignment is to expose the class to a wide range of work in this field which can help inform your final projects.

There are two components of this assignment:

1. Individual review and blog post
2. A group lightning presentation

The assignment is worth 20 points total.

At most, two students can sign up for any given related work. Each student will first individually review and write a blog post about the work. Then, in class, you will pair and review your response with the other student who picked the same example. You will then co-present a lightning presentation in class summarizing the work to the rest of the class. Details of each part of the assignment are described below:

Assignment #1: Blog Post

10 points

This blog post should include the following:

1. A high level summary of what the project is and what its goals are
2. A description of the type of sensing and / or communication protocol that are utilized in the work. (For some related work, the technical details will be described in detail. For others, there may be little information and you should, to the best of your ability, describe how you think it works).
3. What you found interesting about the interaction and creative potential of the project
4. How you might imagine this work being extended to other applications.
